UNIPET Energy is pleased to announce the receipt of a Renewable Energy Generator Licence, granted by the Ministry of Public Utilities for a 4 kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system. This approval reflects another meaningful milestone in UNIPET Energy’s ongoing work to advance renewable energy development and sustainable infrastructure across Trinidad and Tobago
To mark the occasion, UNIPET Energy hosted a formal handover ceremony on November 14th, 2025, during which the licence was presented to Mr. Hayden Toney, former Director of UNIPET. The event recognised Mr. Toney’s early vision and support, as he was among the first to champion UNIPET Energy’s mission and growth during its formative years.
The issuance of this licence further strengthens UNIPET Energy’s ability to deliver clean, reliable, and innovative energy solutions across the nation. As the company continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio, UNIPET Energy remains committed to supporting Trinidad and Tobago’s sustainability goals and contributing to a greener future.
